CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper restaurants, is seeking a highly motivated Games Installations Administrator to join our Installations Department.  This position is remote based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Motivated self-starter with a high degree of ownership, who can work independently minimal supervision
  • Supervise the placement of new and removal of old equipment in existing and new locations.
  • Perform show installations for Corporate and Franchise units.
    • Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors and superintendents to ensure punch lists are completed in a timely manner.
    • Verify the proper operation of the CEC entertainment package.
    • Manage the locations technical manager in the installation and operation of the CEC entertainment package with a hands-on approach. Develop a plan each day.
  • Coordinate and supervise final sign-off of major attractions and Soft Play units.
  • Verify the skills & kiddie room layouts are per the prints.
    • Oversee the uncrating and removal of packaging material.
    • Supervise the placement of games and equipment.
    • Coordinate with operation and construction the sign-off of the equipment and the store.
  • Ensure the proper training and follow up with store technical manager to ensure that all games and rides are fully operational & signed off in a quality hands on method.
  • Manage and submit expense reports in accordance with our Travel Policy
  • Coordinate the ordering of parts and supplies with our corporate vendors to replace damaged or failed equipment. Develop a plan for their installation to best serve the store.
  • Demonstrate and instruct the process to set up Tech Rooms to the highest level of organization
  • Keep an “Entire Store Mentally” on the job sites and ensure a quality result.
  • Build a positive atmosphere to manage the process and ensure no time overrun are incurred.
  • Keep the job organized and on schedule by maintaining the following:
    • Take pictures of each job and update files.
    • Maintain a full tool inventory.
    • Store game and show checklist.
    • Any associated paperwork.
  • Assist in the preparation of new and used equipment in a warehouse environment, as needed
  • Perform other duties and lend assistance to co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of our Support Center Management Team.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Technical Installation experience
  • 2+ years of administrative support experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and Outlook
  • Detailed oriented to meet specific timelines in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 90%
  • Must possess a Passport or the ability to obtain a Passport

Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with the repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle if needed.
