CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Pasqually’s Pizza and Wings restaurants, is seeking an Intern for the Spring semester in our International Marketing Department.

This is a paid internship that will provide you with an opportunity for professional growth and development. This program will not qualify for college credit (exceptions may apply). This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX with flexible hours ranging from 24-40 hours a week during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This can be a hybrid work arrangement of remote/WFH and in-person/on-site work.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience in:

  • Chuck E. Cheese is searching for an energetic Marketing Intern to support the international business unit. In this role, you will learn about franchising, global brand development, and international relations.

Applicable majors/interests:

  • Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Relations
  • Global brand campaign, social media tactics, and advertising campaign development
  • International franchising in the family entertainment center space

General responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

  • Assist the International Marketing Director, and international support center team.
  • Set up social media handles/pages for new markets and enforce guidelines for existing ones.
  • Review social media content from around the world ensuring brand standards are followed.
  • Developing marketing tools and resources to drive global advertising.
  • Set up international websites and internal process.
  • Support the development of training guides for new partners.
  • Maintain marketing asset management library.
  • Collaborate with team members, management, cross-functional departments, and franchise partners.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word, Teams)
  • Passionate about social media community and content management for global brands
  • Proficient in social media tactics and trends across all platforms (Meta, IG, YouTube)
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required

Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with the repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle if needed.
