During my internship in the Financial Planning and Analysis department, I had a range of engaging tasks and felt comfortable asking questions. I also had the opportunity to explore the company culture through a variety of events that connected me with different departments and team members. The work environment is incredibly fun and welcoming, and I could not have asked for a better place to complete my first internship.

I worked in the Marketing and Strategic Initiatives department, where I had an incredible in-depth experience collaborating with different departments across the company. This allowed me to gain insight into not only the marketing side of the business, but also how every team works together in harmony to accomplish a task. I learned so much from my time at CEC, and the skills I picked up will be invaluable in my future career!

I applied to and was hired for an IT internship here at CEC right after graduating from college. Interning at CEC was an amazing experience, and I was able to explore multiple different areas of IT to figure out what I wanted to specialize in. There were many hands-on opportunities which really helped me to develop my skills. At the end of my internship, I was fortunate enough to be offered a full-time position at CEC. Starting as an intern and growing into my full-time role was a great way to kickstart my career, and I’m proud to be part of the CEC team!

The CEC Internship program provided me with fundamental insight into not only my field of study but also gave me the unique opportunity to gain knowledge and advice from our senior leadership in terms of career development and growth. The internship program is truly tailored to provide in-depth firsthand experience in your dedicated field so you can strengthen professional skills and do so in a very welcoming and positive environment. I have seen the attentiveness CEC Entertainment provides to interns through sessions with senior leadership, inclusion in volunteering events, and celebrating achievements like birthdays! I noted that the recruitment process was one of the most important interactions, where a recruiter answered each of my questions with integrity and handled each communication efficiently. CEC Entertainment has enhanced my standards for company culture, the recruitment experience, and value provided through each project that I help support.

As a former Learning and Development intern at CEC Entertainment, I had the opportunity to learn from strong, talented leaders. My supervisor, along with my team, encouraged me to share my ideas and contribute to impactful projects. Throughout my experience, I felt heard, appreciated, and excited to come to work. To partially quote the great Maya Angelou, “people will never forget how you made them feel.” How my internship made me feel is the reason I chose to pursue a full-time career at CEC Entertainment.

The culture is phenomenal, and every week brings an element of excitement because of the many festivities planned throughout the calendar year. Being an HR intern has brought me tremendous awareness of the field and great exposure while contributing every day to a global brand like CEC entertainment”

My internship at CEC Entertainment was so much more rewarding than I was anticipating. In my time here, I have been able to gain experience in different HR functions and have been exposed to many great learning scenarios.
