CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants has an immediate opening at our Warehouse Center in Topeka, KS for an Administrator, Technical Advisor.

Essential Functions

Performs all duties and responsibilities in support of field services and operations.  Supports the Corporate Objectives, including:  "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is."

• Support our customers (Operations and Field Technical Managers).
• Conduct Quality Repairs on items in the Electronics Repairs inventory list.
• Provide Technical phone support for the field.
• Assemble various sound and other kit assemblies to support the field.
• Maintain, create, and update Tech manuals, schematics and text fixtures needed for repairs.
• Assist in maintaining the Technical Support Web Site and implement future upgrades to support the field.
• Manage the shipping and receiving of all exchange parts.
• Performs other duties and lend assistance to co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of our Corporate Management Team.

Essential Qualifications:
 

• Verbal Communication Skills.
• Typing/data entry (40 WPM).
• Answer telephone.
• Computer Software: Word/Excel
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Outstanding mechanical aptitude.
• Written Communication Skills.
• Analytical Skills.
• Proficient at Soldering.
• Customer relations/service. Professional demeanor, attitude & appearance.
• 1 year experience as a Qualified Bench Technician.
   

Physical Demands:

To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 – 50 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with occasional overtime.
